when i was in class 10th, I wore my first Bra.At first I was very uncomfortable as i felt as something has tightend me and my breast has taken an irregular shape..I was again and again looking into the mirror and finding a drastic change in my appearance. I am finding it very uncomfortable to come out of my room and go to school..

I remember the first day when i wore it was i was in 7th std when one day while i was getting ready for my school my mom came to me and started taking measurements and i was a bit confused as to why mom was taking it and later that day mom bought a set of white bra for me, though padded as i was of slim built, and at first it was awkward to wear it and i started folding my hands in front of me more but as time passed i got comfortable.. thanks to mom for showing me a whole new world of something as inane as a brassiere and now my its my passion of having all types and sorts and colors of them in my wardrobe… :)

I remember my mother walking into my room with a box in her hand. Like every 12 year old girl, I was curious. I wanted to know what was inside. She showed them to me.
I wasn’t embarrassed! I had grown up looking at pictures of models wearing the lovely ones on glossy pages of magazines. Finally it was time I got to try them, feel like them in many ways!
My mother always knew colors fascinated me. She got me 3- orange, pink and a white one for my white school uniform. She’s supercool that way!
So,at 12, I graduated from training bras to wearing the real ones! They made me feel like a woman that day. They still do..:)

My first bra was an unexpected because its my 14th birthday present from my mum. so it was a surprise when she gave me one present. As I opened it to reveal a small white bra with letter, she said something like “I thought you might be needing one of these soon” & letter was…
This Gift is Lacey, frilly,Expensive too.
It is pretty, It is nice,
They enhance ur personality after wear
ur breast will simply be in the right place
From dawn till dusk,For work or for play,
Wear them you must ,Until the end of the day!

I remember feeling so awkward while wear it but I became comfortable with myself. now as time passed i got more comfortable with it…I was actually really good with this. I was happy to wear it as I was a little more developed than my other friends & My Mum gave me a feeling of better support. All credit goes to only my Mum for make my small breasts touch the sky. This gift & letter was my lifetime unforgettable gift… I can’t explain just how amazing I feel. :)

One of the greatest confusion I faced that day.
Initially denied my mom’s recommendation.. but….
It was the 2nd day in hostel/boarding school after the holidays..
    Early morning to school.
Was the first one in my class to get one.
Was confused – to flaunt it or to conceal it.
Though was quite conscious and uncomfortable from inside, I decided to boast about in amongst my friends in the hostel..
To my surprise most of my friends instead of being curious were confused.
When I realised that I was being ridiculed, I silently coveted all my matured classmates to …
And now I have a boyfriend who has ‘bra fetish’

I remember in my school days when I was in Class 6th, I realized that I am a girl getting changed every day. I used to wear slits and after a year, the curves started to get some shape and they were getting bulging and my mother was concerned that should I start wearing bra or not!!!! She took me to doctor and asked her opinion as to when bra should be started to wear because my mother thought if I start to wear earlier than its required then may be it may hamper growth of body and curves may be grow as they are required. Then Lady doctor, suggested that if curves are taking shape and I am comfortable wearing it then I can start wearing it. On way back to home, my mother purchased bra for my size and after reaching home, my mother showed me and taught me to wear it. At first, I felt very strange and annoyed about the way to wear it and then join at the back. It was a change for me in wearing under garments and I felt very strange as to wear it from both sides and then join at the back and then finally, with much resistant, I tried and at first felt strange but next moment I felt quite good as the bulging curves were now stiff, looked sharped and they were holded tightly by bra as a result I felt really good, confident and nice and then suddenly I liked wearing it. I can not forget the very first experience as at first I was reluctant to wear it and felt awkward the way its wore but after wearing it, I liked and felt good and I thanked my mother for showing how to wear it.

That day was very thrilling one when I purcahased bras for a girl friend! She was with my family and about to go back to her town/village next day. We came to know each other during her stay and discussed things one should at teen age. (I was jsut out of the teen stage, had a job and little money in hand to spare as per my desire). I took her to market and asked her to take any thing she likes. She negated alomost every thing from the shops we visited (Probably she was not bold enogh to say “I want brassieres”) At last, when we were passing near a cloth shop, I immediately asked if she need BRAs. To my astonishment, she noded head and we enetred in the shop (No lingerie shops in those days, ordinary cloth merchants were catering the “under_ware_world” needs). That time, UNDERGARMENTS were to be talked in low voice, for mens even! After initial salutation with the counter boy, I asked him to show few bras, common word was body in local terms. Going throug 5-6 samples, she selected set of 2 bras made of cotton, with cotton straps, probably of 34 size and local ‘menakaform’ single metal hookback closure style. I paid (whole) 12 Rs from my thin income. Counter boy, looking girl, asked “what about kinicers,(local term CHADDI) can I show sir?”. By that time other customer came into shop. I was thrilled to complete the work and little afraid too. Hence I stopped only on bra purchase, affordability for other part was also a question. I returned to home like a free bird. In home also, I once again opened the paper bag and examined again and again the new bras in presense of that girl.
That was the first time when I touched bras, handeled from all the sides, checked the hook and loops as if I am to use it, that too in front of a girl and purchased for some one as a gift. I cannot forget that day! The world of undergarments in those days was not so colourfull like it is today. By that time I was not knowing much about a BRA, even though I was often viewing various advertisements in magzines and reading the assocaited description. Today, I believe boys/girls of teen age are knowing much more about bras etc. due to freedom at various stages and levels. Thanks for getting oppertunity to speak

I didnt wear one till i was 13 (when i got my period, because thats what you did when you got your period, you got a bra too). I came home one day from school and my mom had left a few bras on my bed. I remember being like oh hell no. But she was a lot more enthusiastic which one will I choose, any1 could make out from her expression…that’s for sure. I chose just simple cotton ones that looked more like sports bras (as in, no separate cups for each boob). Next day I remember I was sooo embarrassed at school, I was cringing because I didn’t want anyone to notice! But my suspicious friends discovered somehow that I had one, they all wanted to see it, so I’d show it to them in the bathroom. They all pulled my leg and told me how lucky I was, lol. But with time… I just figured it was another new piece of undergarment I had to wear.

I was a chubby 12yr tomboyish girl and at school annual function my class teacher whispered into my ear, *U should start wearing a bra sweetie*, both embarassed and stimulated I was speechless, so in a day or two… i discovered my older sister’s bra in her cupboard.
Since no one was home so I picked it up and as I touched it I noticed how sexy it was and sheer lace inspired me to try it how it felt? I pulled off my shirt and put my arms thru the straps and leaned forward as I had seen my mother do.
I was able to walk my hands down the band and fasten the hook behind. That bra fit me like I had been measured for it.

Naturally I couldn’t take it off so I decided to wear it and as I left I saw the matching pantiegirdle on the floor also and took it as well.
I was so excited I was trembling and almost about to feint it was so intense and wonderful. I felt beautiful from inside and the same day asked my mom to bring a b’ful pair for me too :)

It was embarrassing since I’m not really confident about my breasts size. I did my research online and found my bra size: 32. I went to the store without my mom and tried some bras on. some of them are too tight and seriously at that time i hate bras I think that at my age my boobs could be bigger, but they’re not. the girls have boobs, even one of them has extremely big boobs and she’s just 5 months older than me. I don’t feel comfortable with my boobs, they should be bigger. I feel like I have nice butt, little waist and my hips are awesome.

My mom went with me to get my first bra. & when we got home I was so excited to put it on! I remember them being itchy and scratchy on my skin and tried hardest to avoid wearing them until I was like 13 :) Yeah! In starting point of time I do very well remembered feeling awkward, as I wasn’t used to wearing something around my chest. More than anything, I remember my chest being very tender and sore – not from the bra, but from my growing breasts. ..:))

My first bra was an unexpected and rather unwelcome 12th birthday present from my mom in June 2011. Unexpected because neither of us had raised the subject of me getting one and unwelcome because I didn’t think needed one.:)
A few of my classmates had started to wear them ,
Gradually as i was growing I had started to notice the first signs of things changing. My nipples started to get a little ‘puffy’ and small bumps appeared underneath them. However they weren’t really noticeable under my clothes and other than making sure I wore a vest under certain T shirts .. I ignored them and carried as before.
I didn’t think even mom had noticed as she never commented on them, so it was a surprise when she gave me one last present (thankfully once my dad had gone out). As I opened it to reveal a small white bra, she said something like “I thought you might be needing one of these soon”. I went red and didn’t say anything, but mom insisted I try it on. Well I hated the way the elastic seemed to cut into me and the way it seemed to emphasise my boobs under my shirts, when all I wanted was for them to go away.
So for the next few months the bra was consigned to the bottom of my drawer and I carried on wearing my vests…:))

I was 11 and Mom said I needed one and she measured me I was pretty pleased with my size too(since most of my classmates were still completely flat)..But I remember I went with my mom and it was pretty traumatic, I didn’t want one. At the store i picked out a few bras,a black one,a red one,a blue one,and one the matched my skin,I hated those uncomfortable things….n at that time I Barely Ever Wore Them

I’m so opposite from everyone else – i fought tooth and nail with my mom about a bra – i did NOT want one but i was developing fairly early and needed one badly (i think at 8th class was when she finally made me get one)….i cried and fought and finally went and got a couple cute cartoonish ones (like with tweety bird on it) but wouldn’t show my mom if they fit so she just trusted me to try them alone in the changeroom on and bought them for me anyway….funny thing is, i kept developing and now I’m well endowed and love my boobs…i lost the nervous awkwardness associated with bras somewhere and now I’m super comfortable…

I can never forget the day I lost my freedom to a pair of strings which caught my chest in a vice like grip.At first I resisted and wished to remove it but then I chanced to look at the mirror where I saw a completely new me, a shape I have never seen before. My initial resistance turn to suprise and appreciation.
