Where to go?

Before shopping for lingerie you can take an educated guess about the brands you need to try and the stores you need to go. Like every person, every brand has its own style of lingerie. Different lingerie products of different brands can be given preference depending upon the type of outerwear. For this you can read a couple of articles and discussions over the internet. Browse through lingerie magazines. Or perhaps browse through Unhooked and you’ll be sorted.

What to look for?

The most important thing to look for while buying lingerie is the size of the products. Your comfort is largely based on wearing the right size of lingerie. The type of lingerie you wear under what type of outfit carries equal important. For example you cannot wear a usual t-shirt bra under low-cut tops. You have to wear a good demi bra that will provide support as well as hide perfectly under the top. Most women are unaware of their own accurate lingerie size because of which they face various problems and discomfort. It is recommended that you have a reference point of your lingerie size. Check ‘A fitting tale’ article on the site. It is also recommended that you spend a lot of time in the trial room before you pick you lingerie.

How to take care of it?

Now that you know how to pick lingerie that suits you it is important to make it last long. Always read the washing instructions on the label if available. Generally, hand washing lingerie in cold water is preferred. Hot water wash can shrink your lingerie especially satin ones by 10 to 20 percent. Take off the extra water by a gentle squeeze and allow lingerie to drip dry. Never wring lingerie and never ever put in the dryer!
